In order to take the PADI Rescue Diver Course you must first have the following Prerequisites:
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent).
• Current CPR/First Aid Training (Emergency First Response or equivalent).
The total training fees are $125.00. The fees are broken down as follows:
$25.00 Registration Fee
$100.00 Instructor / Certification Fee
You can also register online by paying the $25.00 registration fee. Your instructor will collect the remaining fees in person.
No store fees will be refunded once class has begun. Classes are transferable for up to one year from original start date.
The Rescue Diver Course is a one-week course consisting of two classroom sessions, and one weekend of pool/ocean dives. The pool training will be done on Saturday morning and ocean training will be done on Sunday morning.

For the first night, you will need the PADI Rescue Diver Student Kit, which includes the Rescue Manual, Rescue DVD, and Diving Accident Management Work Slate. Before your ocean dives, you will need your own personal snorkeling gear, which includes Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Gloves, Knife, Pocket Mask and Signal Tube.

You may rent the rest of your SCUBA at Diver Dan’s. This includes your Wetsuit, Hood, Regulator (with Dive Computer, Compass & Whistle), Weight Belt, Buoyancy Control Device (BCD), and Tanks.
If you are currently under the care of a medical doctor, or have a pre-existing medical condition that requires permission from a physician, you will need to have a signed medical release form from your doctor before you can participate in any in-water activities.
