Diver Dan's Store Policies

Refund / Exchange Policy

  • 30 day refund / 60 day exchange. All items must have a receipt and be in re-saleable condition with all original packaging material.  No refunds or exchanges on Scuba tanks - All sales final.
     

  • Credit Card refunds will be credited back to the card used.
     

  • A check will be mailed within five working days for cash and check refunds over $100.00.  No cash refunds will be issued prior to the check clearing the bank.

Check Policy

  • Diver Dan's does not accept checks.  Payments may be made with Credit Cards or Cash.

Special Order Policy

  • Special Orders require a 100% down payment.
     

  • Freight charges may be applicable and are non-refundable.
     

  • Return/Exchange Policy.  Refunded items must be returned within 30 days of arrival from the manufacturer.  Exchanged items must be returned within 60 days of arrival.  Returned items must have a receipt, must have all original packaging, and be in re-sellable condition.
     

  • Return of “Regular” In-Stock items are eligible for full refunds or exchanges.
     

  • Return of “Non-Regular” In-Stock items will be charged a 33% re-stocking fee.  Return freight charges may also be applicable.
     

  • Special Order of “Halcyon” products are Final.  No returns, exchanges or refunds.

Lay-A-Way Policy

  • Diver Dan's offers Lay-A-Way for regular priced, in-stock items only.  No Lay-A-Way's on Special Orders.
     

  • Customer must put at least an initial 25% down-payment.
     

  • Customers must make regular payments at least every 90 days to show "activity" on the Lay-A-Way item(s).
     

  • Any Lay-A-Way item(s) left in the store for over 180 days with "no activity" becomes property of Diver Dan's and may be sold by Diver Dan's.  All monies paid will be forfeited.

Gift Certificates Policy

  • Gift Certificates may be purchased for any amount.
     

  • Gift Certificates may be redeemed for merchandise only.  No cash refunds.  After initial use any unused balance will be put on a in-store account.
     

  • Gift Certificates may not be used for Instructor Class Fees.
     

  • There is no expiration dates on Diver Dan's Gift Certificates.

Class Fee Policy

  • Any Class Fee's (Class Fee's / Pool Fee's / Rental Fee's / Boat Fee's . . .) paid to the store are not refundable once they have begun the class.
     

  • Any Class Fee's (Class Fee's / Pool Fee's / Rental Fee's / Boat Fee's . . .) paid to the store are good for one year.  Customers may transfer from one start date to another for one year, and is eligible for a Class Fee refund up to one year from the initial sign-up date (provided that they have not yet began any training).  After one year from the initial sign-up date there will be no refunds, and the customer forfeits these fees.

Repair / Service Policy

  • All Service is warranted for 90 days. No refunds for Service Labor or Parts.
     

  • Any service item left in the store for over 120 days becomes property of Diver Dan's and may be sold by Diver Dan's.
