To get started the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program will let you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI instructor in our on-site pool. During your adventure, you will master some basic concepts and scuba skills that will give you an idea of how easy and fun scuba diving is.

I want to try scuba diving first, how can I?

If you’ve always wanted to try scuba diving – then jump in! Here’s your chance to breathe underwater in a fun, convenient session conducted in our On-Site Swimming Pool!

How much is it going to cost me?

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is FREE!

After the pool session your instructor will be happy to answer any questions you have about the PADI Open Water Diver program and how you too can become a PADI Open Water Diver.
 

What is the class schedule?

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is offered on Friday nights.  See schedule below.

What do I need to start?

  • Bring a bathing suit and towel
  • A sense of adventure
  • Be in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water
  • Be at least 10 years old
  • Complete and sign the Discover Scuba statement which will be provided (Parents will need to be present for divers under 18).

What will I need to buy?

Nothing - Remember it's Free!

Show to up with only your bathing suit and a towel.   Diver Dan's will take care of the rest.

What will I do?

When you participate in the Discover Scuba program, you'll discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity.  Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater.  Only a diver knows the feeling and now you can too!

How long will it take?

Get ready to dive today. Whether you watch the short PADI Discover Scuba video or are briefed with the Discover Scuba flip chart, you'll be entering the water quickly and ready for your scuba adventure.

Medical Concerns or Questions?

If you are currently under the care of a medical doctor, or have a pre-existing medical condition that requires permission from a physician, you will need to have a signed medical release form from your doctor before you can participate in any in-water activities.

To obtain a medical release form and view some conditions that would require a doctors release, download the PADI Medical Release Form to review before coming to class.

Where can I go from here?

As soon as you Discover Scuba/Discover Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you may learn skills from the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba adventure. If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited to the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.
