Description

In training to become an Assistant Instructor you will concentrate on the development of your Knowledge Development (Classroom), Confined Water (Pool), and Open Water (Ocean) presentations to Instructor demonstration quality.  As a PADI Assistant Instructor you will be able to act as an instructional assistant to a PADI Instructor, or be able to independently conduct many programs!

Training Fees

The total training fee is $500.00 and paid directly to the Instructor.

Prerequisites

In order to become a PADI Assistant Instructor, you must first already be a PADI Divemaster (or equivalent).  You must be 18 years or older and be certified in CPR and First Aid.  You must also have logged at least 60 dives to begin the program.

Class Schedule

In training to become a PADI Assistant Instructor, there are two formats to choice from, a 3 day format or a two week format.  See the exact schedule below.

What You Will Need To Buy

You will need the PADI Instructor Manaul, PADI Instructor Development Course Workbook, Best of the Undersea Journal, Confined Water Slates, Confined Water Presentation Slates, Open Water Slates, Open Water Presentation Slates.  Your instructor will inform you of any other materials you may need.

Medical Requirement

For the Assistant Instructor program you will need to have a signed Medical Release form from your doctor before you can participate in any in-water activities.
